The six day Estonia Tour takes you through untouched nature and historical places of Estonia. You will be discovering mystical underwater mine site and the king of Estonian islands- Saaremaa. Summer capital Pärnu lets you experience its fantastic beach and South-Estonia will charm you with magical forests and rivers. Explore capital Tallinn's historical old town, get a unique taste from a local cuisine and learn about Estonian culture through local art, folk music and traditional dance.

Duration of the tour is six days and five nights. We start the tour on 8th of July morning and end around lunchtime on 13th of July 2019.

Tour starts and ends from capital Tallinn.

Day 1, 8th of July

The tour starts in the morning from Tallinn where the bus will take us to Rummu quarry. Local guides will inform You about the surrounding area and its origins. Since we spend a whole day in Rummu, there's many exciting activities to take part of:

  • discovering underwater prison by snorkeling

  • SUP surfing on Rummu's lake

  • hike to the top of the ash mountain for a stunning view with a guide or on your own (suitable for everyone)

  • explore ex-prison with a guide to hear forgotten stories (Please don't ignore this, just because it's an ex-prison. This tour has received a lot of positive feedback from previous visitors)

  • canoeing on Rummu's lake

  • raft ride on Rummu's lake

  • swimming and enjoying the sand beach (lake water is limpid and warm)

After an adventurous day at Rummu, we head to Virtsu port from where the ferry takes us to Estonia's biggest island, Saaremaa. We will spend next two nights in a 4 star Spa Hotel Rüütli, where everyone can relax at the Spa and enjoy a buffet dinner.

* Diving age limit is older than 11 years old, exceptions can be made by diving instructor

* For safety reasons, there is always one instructor per diver when underwater, unless instructor states otherwise

Day 2, 9th of July

On our second day we discover the biggest island of Estonia. A local guide will share stories about Saaremaa and its unique history, while we make our way to Kuressaare Episcopal Castle, that was built in 14th century. The convent building is the only surviving medieval fortification in the Baltic countries that has not been significantly reconstructed.

We visit a meteor crater named Kaali, the first found crater in Europe and The Saint Martin's Church of Valjala, likely the oldest surviving church in Estonia.


Vanatoa tourism Farm offers us refreshing Estonian meal, made from local ingredients. There's also a little suprise for You.

5 minute walk takes us to Muhu museum, whish is in Koguva village on the west coast of Muhu island. It is a remarkable example of Estonian peasant architecture, that has fascinated etnographers already in the beginning of the 20th century.

After Muhu we have a brief look at the characteristic sites of Saaremaa - Panga cliff and Angla windmill hill.

Day 3, 10th of July

After breakfast we head back towards mainland, to explore our next destination Pärnu. Our summer capital Pärnu is most known for its amazing beaches and buzzing summer life (festivals, restaurants etc). Therefore we let you experience Estonian summer on Your own - swimming and sunbathing at the beach, restaurants and old town. Of course we will provide You with our recommendations and for those, who wish to have a guided tour at Pärnu, there is option for that as well.


In the evening, we continue our trip towards East. Taevaskoja area is considered as one of the most beautiful places in Estonia thanks to its powerful sand outcrops, lush rivers and ancient forests.


On our arrival we will settle in at Taevaskoja Resort, where a local, home-made dinner is waiting for us. After dinner You can enjoy Estonian sauna with an outside hot tub. There is also an opportunity to watch a movie “The Singing Revolution”, which tells the story how Estonian nation saved our land and culture by the power of singing. Watch the trailer here!

Fun fact: In Pärnu beach You can walk hundred meters towards the sea, before the sea level reaches above Your head.

Day 4, 11th of July

Day 5, 12th of July

On our fifth day, the tour will take us to the university town Tartu, which is located on the beautiful shores of Emajõe river. We will visit The Estonian National Museum, founded in 1909. The museum tracks the history, life and traditions of Estonian people and a tour guide is provided for everyone.

After lunch at the museum, we head back to Tallinn where we will stay in 4.5 star Radisson Blu Hotel Olympia which is located in  downtown.

Different activities held in the nature cover the first part of our 4th day. There is something for everyone. You can choose from activities below:

  • Canoeing on Ahja river, route Koorvere-Kiidjärve (most popular one, contains 3-4 executable rapids that add excitement, distance is 12km and duration varies from 2-3.5h, depending on Your pace)

  • Canoeing on Ahja river, route Kiidjärve-Saesaare (calm flow route with no rapids, distance is 6km and duration varies from 1.5-2.5h, depending on Your pace)

  • Bog Tour on snowshoes (Estonian bogs are rich on different species and plants, snowshoes are used in bogs for environmental reasons to protect the nature, suitable for children over 6 years, distance is 5km, duration 2-3h)

  • Guided walking tour in Taevaskoja area (best way to discover and hear about the origins of Taevaskoda, suitable for everyone, distance is 4km, duration varies from 2-4 hours depending on group interests)


You are also welcome to discover Taevaskoja area on Your own. There are many hiking routes for different levels and interesting places to explore.


The other half of the day will be filled with culture. You can take part of the Estonian folk dance workshop conducted by folk dancers and listen to some live Estonian musicians. The highlight of the evening will be the Estonian folk music ensemble “Kukerpillid”, whose band has been described as: “Late-night stragglers wound up at a rocking dance party with the accordeon” by a New York Times journalist.

They have had a major impact on the Estonian folk music and its preservation.

After “Kukerpillid” You can end the day again with a traditional sauna or a relaxing hot tub.

Estonian National Museum

Day 6, 13th of July

After breakfast we will visit Kumu Art Museum. Kumu is one of the largest art museums in Northern Europe. The main collection covers Estonian art from the 18th century onwards.  An hour long guided tour is provided for everyone.


The last destination is Tallinn’s old town, which was entered on UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 1997 as an 'exceptionally complete and well preserved example of a medieval northern European trading city'. Our trusted guides will take You through all the highlights of the Old Town in a 2 hour tour.

We will say our goodbyes and a buss can take You to the airport if You wish.

Accommodation is provided in 2 different hotels and in one resort. In hotels the accommondation is in double or twin-bed rooms. It is possible to have an extra bed or two in the room.


In Tallinn we spend a night in 4,5 stars Radisson Blu Hotel Olympia which is located in down town.

In Saaremaa we stay in 4 stars Spa Hotel Rüütli that also has a Spa and a water park.


Taevaskoja Resort is located in the middle of nature. There's two different accommodation houses: 

Conference house has rooms with private bathrooms and showers. There are at least two single beds in most of the rooms plus an extra bed or two option.

Camp house has rooms with single beds and bunk beds. Bathrooms and showers are shared.

If you would feel more comfortable sharing a private room with only your partner or family in conference house then the whole package will cost 20€ more per adult (two nights).
